Celebs are wearing the cutest updos that you may think took their stylists hours to achieve! But you can get some of those looks in just a little amount of time, and you can do it yourself!
Updos are perfect for a day of shopping, or a night out on the town. But living on the Gulf Coast, updos are also great for a day at the beach. The stylists at The Sanctuary Salon in Fairhope show you how to get some very cute looks in minutes in minutes in this video, and you'll find easy, step-by-step directions below.
Braided headband
Step1: Section out a square shape behind each ear. Braid sections in upward angle.(secure ends of braid with elastic band ) Cross braids smoothly over the head creating a headband
Step2: Pin each end of braid into base of opposing braid.
Step3: Pull remaining front section over the base of each braid and pin for a smooth, concealed finish.
Step4: Spray Prive' finishing spray for hold.
How to wave using flat iron
Step1: Prep by spraying White Sands Infinity hairspray
Step2: Take 2 inch sections and spiral away from face using flat iron.
Step3: After curling, run fingers through hair to separate waves.
Step4: Spray hair with White Sands Infinity hairspray again for a long lasting soft hold.
Over the shoulder waves
Step1: Divide pre-waved hair to two sections diagonally. Take each section and twist inward towards each other.
Step2: Cross one twisted section over the other by wrapping it around. Leaving very end of hair as a tail to anchor the twist using pins.
Step3: Bobby pin all the way around the wrapped section. More pins should be used for thicker hair textures.
Step4: Spray for hold with White Sands Infinity hairspray
Messy/twisted updo
Step1: Using precurled or natural curls twist large section from front/size away front face Continue to twist the section into a messy knot look and secure with several pins depending on thickness.
Step2: Repeat on opposite side
Step3: Continue to twist remaining hair into sections and pin.
Step4: Spray Prive' Flash Brilliance for a frizz free shiny look!
