Phasions for Philanthropy

The Assistance League's "Phashions for Philanthropy", their major spring fundraiser, will be held on Saturday, April 21, at the Renaissance Riverview Plaza Hotel at 11am.   

The guest speaker will be co-author of Women of True Grit, Tina Savas, and models will be some of Mobile's own Women of True Grit:  Helen Alford, Sheryl Bates, Brandy Brown, Suzy Figarola, Vivian Davis-Figures, Eugenia Foster, Virginia Guy and Lisa Carol Lambert.  Fashions are by Metzgers.

Besides a fashion show, guest speaker and great lunch, there will also be a silent auction and five opportunity prizes, including $500 cash.  The fashion show is always a fun event and helps to fund our community programs.  Individual tickets are $50.  

Assistance League is an all volunteer organization whose members work providing school books and uniforms to needy children, "therapy" dolls for children at local hospitals, Assault Survivor Kits to the Rape Crisis Center, and newborn supplies to USA Children's and Women's Hospital.
