Some local teens are teaming up to help raise money for the NICU at USA Children's and Women's Hospital. They are hosting a teen fashion show with all of the money going to the Chidren's Miracle Network.
Kellie Barrett is a freshman at McGill Toolen. She is involved in Miss America's Outstanding Teen Program and is the current Miss Tuscaloosa's outstanding teen.
Her platform is It's Possible- Believing in Your
Dreams.
She put together a group of teens from area high schools in both Mobile and Baldwin County to model in the fashion show.
One of the teens modeling in the fashion show is Jenny Biggs. She is a junior at Fairhope High School. Jenny is this years Alabama Champion for CHildren's Miracle Network. Jenny has a personal connection to the cause. She made a miraculous recovery from a brain tumor just two years ago.
The fashion show will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013 featuring clothes from Lotus, Hemline, "B" Boutique, Polish, Utopia, Private Gallery, Bella Boutique, Brown Eyed Girl, and Ooh La La. The event will be held at the Mobile Museum of Art at 2pm. Tickets are $8.
The emcee for the event is Miss Alabama, Anna Laura Bryan.
