The summer heat not only gets to you, but it also affects your dogs. You shouldn't leave your dogs outside in this summer heat when you're not home. Of course dogs like to spend a little time outside, so when you get home, let them out for a little while, but make sure they have shade and plenty of water.

If you have a dog with light or pink skin, your dog will need sunscreen. Just like people with lighter skin, your dog's skin can burn easily.
