Walmart shipping gourmet, & tech

MOBILE, Ala. - Food lovers, if you have fancy tastes and a small budget, Walmart is offering a new service just for you!

It's new subscription service called "Goodies Company" is for people who want to sample gourmet, without paying lots of money.

For $7 a month, Walmart's new website Goodies.co will deliver a gift box of five to eight hand-picked gourmet samplers to your door. You can not buy these items in Walmart stores, and the treats range from healthy and organic to artisan and international.

That $7 includes tax and shipping. After sampling, you can go back to Goodies.co to review and buy the items you love.

Amazon announced yesterday that it will immediately start shipping the Kindle Fire HD 8.9 inch tablet. Amazon previously planned to ship the tablets to stores on November 20th.

It's a larger screened version of Amazon's Android-powered tablet. As of today, the Kindle Fire HD 8.9 can be purchased at Best Buy. Prices start at $299.

About 3,600 expectant Apple fans may be disappointed after a shipment of iPad minis was allegedly stolen from JFK airport. The tablets are worth about $1.5 million dollars.

The iPad minis had been shipped from Apple's assembly partners in China. Police suspect it was an inside job, but as of now, no suspects have been arrested.
