BURBANK, Ala. - Twitter is partnering with Turner Broadcasting to bring March Madness to the mobile masses.
Basketball junkies will be able to watch highlights on Twitter from their phone tablet, or PC from every game within a few minutes of them happening. The replays will be selected by TV production teams covering the 21-day tournament.
Follow @marchmadness to watch the videos.
Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey has already accomplished a lot, but he has big plans for the future. The tech entrepreneur, who also founded the mobile payment company Square, wants to move to New York and run for mayor one day. He says he feels an "electricity" when he's in New York.
Yesterday, Google introduced a new app for Hangouts, called the Hangouts Capture app. Hangouts is a service that lets multiple people chat over video. The Hangouts Capture app lets people take pictures of one another while chatting.
Once you've opened the Hangouts Capture app, you can snap photos of your Hangout view with a single click. All photos are saved to a shared album, visible only to other Hangout invitees. You can view these photos while inside the Hangout, when browsing your photo albums, or by visiting the original Hangout post.
And, you'll always know when the app is in use, when you join a Hangout, when someone opens the app, and whenever a picture is taken.
That's your Daily Tech.
