Each week during our "Workin' It" segments, Cherish and Joe go out in the community and do jobs that they haven't done before, things they're not used to. Cherish loves animals so she decided to see what it would be like to live and work on a farm. So she went to the Ocean Breeze Farm in Summerdale.
The Fox-Casciano family bought the 40-acre farm in 2002 to raise Tennessee Walking Horses. The family also rescues horses. But with all that land and a deep love for animals, the farm became home not only to horses, but also to a number of cows, chickens and roosters, rabbits, ducks, quail, pigeons, and cats and dogs. The family has fruit and vegetable gardens on the grounds.
Each day there is work that has to be done. Cherish takes a day to help out by doing a little gardening, cleaning the chicken coop and disposing of the waste, cleaning water troughs, walking horses, and feeding the animals on the farm. You can find out if Cherish is cut out for farm life when you check out this video.
