GULF COAST - Today: Partly Sunny with a 20% Chance of Showers
Highs: Inland-88, Coast-86
Tonight: Partly Cloudy & Mild
Lows: Inland-63, Coast-67
Weather Summary: After some nasty storms pushed through the Gulf Coast yesterday, we're certainly starting off much more quiet with temps in the mid 60s and no rain on the radar. Although the storms did produce nasty lightning, hail, and gusty winds, it's nice we saw the significant rainfall cause we are about to move into a dry weather pattern and hot and humid weather will be attached to that. A frontal boundary has pushed farther Eastward and that front was one of the driving forces of the storms yesterday. That front now sits around the i-65 corridor so with the heating of the day we could again see more strong storms fire off, but areas on the east side of the Fox10 viewing area will be the ones with the best chance to see rain. By tonight, the front will wash itself out and that means rain chances will cease. A strong high pressure ridge builds in tomorrow and that means very hot and humid weather will push in and the rain chances should be non-existent for the rest of the week.
