MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Due to Hurricane Isaac, University of South Alabama Director of Athletics Dr. Joel Erdmann announced Tuesday that the Jaguars’ season-opening football game has been pushed back two days.
USA will now play host to Texas-San Antonio Saturday at Ladd-Peebles Stadium, with kickoff slated for 1 p.m. The contest was originally scheduled to be played Thursday night in Mobile.
“After long consideration of numerous factors impacting the game, the logical decision is to move the game to Saturday,” Erdmann said. “We encourage our fans to come out, enjoy a great football game and support the Jaguars.”
