Closing: Mobile Gas closes noon Tuesday

Officials say due to impending severe storm conditions, the front offices of Mobile Gas Service Corporation will be closed for business beginning at noon on Tuesday and all day Wednesday.

This includes the company’s headquarters located on Dauphin Street in Mobile and the Prichard branch office. All essential employees will still report to work. Mobile Gas will reopen on Thursday, if weather conditions are favorable.

The Mobile Gas call center will also be closing at noon on Tuesday, except for emergency calls for customers that may have questions about their service before and after the storm.

Customers can call 251-476-8052. As soon as storm conditions subside, Mobile Gas representatives will be on the streets surveying its system for potential damage.
