School Closings: Okaloosa County

Okaloosa County Schools will be in session on Monday, August 27.

You will be notified by the automated call system if school closures should occur later in the week and information will be posted on this website regarding our school and shelter openings and closings.

This website will remain up throughout the storm regardless of power outages as it will be maintained from another location.

We are in briefings with the national, state and local storm centers and emergency managers every few hours and as Tropical Storm Isaac appears to be taking a westward shift there is still some uncertainty to the pattern and the intensity of the storm. As adjustments to the track are being made we will keep you informed of school status.
