Tropical Storm Ida School Information

Baldwin County, Ala.

• Baldwin County Schools will be closed Monday - Wednesday. Classes will resume Thursday after the Veterans Day Holiday.

• All Baldwin County Catholic schools are closed Monday. Classes will resume Thursday after the Veterans Day Holiday.
   
• Alabama Gulf Coast Christian Academy in Baldwin County will be closed Monday and Tuesday.
   
• Fortis College in Foley is closed Monday and day classes on Tuesday. Night classes are expected to be held Tuesday.
   
• Faulkner State Community College will cancel classes Monday, beginning at 3 p.m. due to Tropical Storm Ida. Classes will resume Thursday after the Veterans Day Holiday.
   
• Little Beginnings Christian Pre-school will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
• Robertsdale First Baptist Preschool will be closed Tuesday.
  
   

Mobile County, Ala.

• Mobile County Public Schools will be closed through Wednesday. Classes will resume Thursday after the Veterans Day Holiday.
   
• All Mobile County Catholic Schools classes will resume Thursday after the Veterans Day Holiday.

• All seven Boys & Girls Clubs in Mobile County will be closed Tuesday, November 10.
   
• Bishop State classes will resume Thursday after the Veterans Day Holiday. The Automotive Service Exam, or ASE, scheduled for 6:45 pm Tuesday night is canceled. Students will be notified of a re-schedule date. This is for Tuesday ONLY!
   
• Blue Cliff Career College Monday night and Tuesday morning classes have been cancelled.
   
• Covenant Christian School will be closed Tuesday.
   
• Enterprise Ozark Community College Aviation Center classes canceled Monday night through Wednesday. Will resume on Thursday.
   
• Faith Academy Tuesday and Wednesday. Classes will resume Thursday after the Veterans Day Holiday.
   
• Faulkner State Community College will cancel classes Monday, beginning at 3 p.m. due to Tropical Storm Ida. Classes will resume Thursday after the Veterans Day Holiday.
   
• Fortis College in Mobile is closed Monday and Tuesday
   
• Good Shepherd Academy and Tender Care closed Tuesday.
   
• ITT Technical Institute closed Monday night.

• Moffett Road Baptist Child Development  will be closing at 4 p.m. Monday and will reopen Wednesday.
   
• Saraland Public Schools will be closed Tuesday. Classes will resume Thursday after the Veterans Day Holiday.
   
• Springhill Baptist Church Child Development Center will be closed Tuesday.
   
• Spring Hill College classes scheduled to begin at 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday, November 10 are canceled. A decision for the remainder of Tuesday's classes will be made Tuesday morning.
   
• St. Lukes Episcopal will be closed Tuesday.
   
• Trinity Lutheran School will be closed Tuesday.
   
• University of Mobile will  resume at Noon on Tuesday. Residence halls remain open. Offices remain open during normal business hours on Monday and Tuesday. click here for updates.

• Drop Back In Academy - closed Tuesday

• Jubilee Early Child Development Center - closed Tuesday

• Grace Temple Christian Academy - closed Tuesday

• Kids Stuff Pre-School @ 320 Hillcrest Road - closed Tuesday

• Boys and Girls Club of Mobile - closed Tuesday
   

Escambia County, Ala.

• Schools will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday.  Classes will resume Thursday.

Washington County, Ala.

• Schools will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Classes will resume Thursday after the Veterans Day holiday.
   

Other Ala. counties

• Alabama Southern Community College will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday (all campuses).

 

Escambia County, Fla.

• Escambia County, Fla. schools will be closed until Thursday

• Escambia County, Fla. Catholic Schools will be closed Monday and Tuesday.

• Fortis Institute in Pensacola closed Monday and Tuesday.
   
• Pensacola Junior College is canceling classes Monday at 1 p.m.  Classes will resume Thursday after the Veterans Day Holiday.
   
• University of West Florida will be closing Monday at 1 p.m. Classes will resume Thursday after the Veterans Day Holiday.
   

Santa Rosa County, Fla.

• Santa Rosa County Schools will dismiss Tier 3 schools at 12:30 p.m. Monday - that includes Navarre High, Gulf Breeze High, PaceHigh, Milton High, Avalon Middle & Holley Navarre Middle.
  
  Tier 1 and 2 schools will dismiss at regular time. Classes will resume Thursday, after the Veterans Day Holiday.
