MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Deputy Director Mike Evans said Sunday Mobile County Emergency Management Association is closely monitoring the situation with Tropical Storm Debby.
Evans and MCEMA Director, Ronnie Adair were in the EMA office Sunday, but Evans said they would decide later whether to have someone man the office overnight.
Based on the information they had Evans said there was no immediate plan to activate the Emergency Operations Center. With the current uncertainty about the storms path, Evans said the best thing people can do now is make any necessary preparations.
FOX10 News also talked to Baldwin County EMA Director Mitchell Sims. Sims said his staff was also called in Sunday, but the E.O.C. had not been activated.
