From the City of Pensacola, regarding the Maritime Park and Pirate Day events:
Due to inclement weather the Grand Opening of the Vince J. Whibbs, Sr. Community Maritime Park day time events have been cancelled. The Charlie Daniels Concert scheduled at 7:30 pm is on hold and showtime is to be determined.

From Mobile County Public Works:

The Mobile County Public Works Department has closed Oyler Road between Jeff Hamilton and McCloud roads, adding to a number of road closures earlier in the day due to flooding.

Meantime, Schillinger Road is open to traffic after flooding required a closure earlier in the day.
Mobile County officials currently are surveying conditions on Leroy Stevens Road downstream from Dawes Lake and said it is likely that they will close the road to traffic because the lake's dam has given out and caused flooding in the area.

All other roadways closed earlier in the day by Mobile County road crews are expected to remain closed through the weekend.
