ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) - A representative for Justin Bieber has responded to news of the New Mexico born plot to murder the pop star.

On Tuesday KRQE News 13 reported that convicted killer Dana Martin recruited Mark Staake and Tanner Ruane of Albuquerque to go to Vermont to kill two men there .  After that the two men were to go to New York where they would kill Bieber.

Bieber’s representative said the star’s staff takes every precaution to protect him and his fans.

Staake and Ruane were caught before they hurt anyone.

Staake met Martin when both were inmates at the State Penitentiary in Las Cruces.
