(CNN/LIN) — As the country tries to understand exactly what happened yesterday in the sleepy town of Newtown, Conn., parents, school workers and residents reflect on the tragic elementary school shooting.

On Saturday morning, state police said they are working to identify all of the victims' identities, which includes 20 children.
