NEW YORK (AP) — Organizers have canceled Rock the Bells Festival coming tour stops in New York and Washington.
A news release from Guerilla Union says the cancellations of this weekend's two-day stop in Washington and next week's shows in New York are due to low ticket sales. Fans will be given full refunds.
The 10th annual hip-hop festival made stops in Los Angeles and San Francisco earlier this month. Guerilla Union owner Chang Weisberg says financial losses would have been "devastating" had the concerts gone on as scheduled.
Wu-Tang Clan, Kendrick Lamar and Kid Cudi were among the groups headlining the East Coast editions of the festival.
