One hurt after deputy-involved shooting

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office has charged an Okaloosa man with battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest with violence after a deputy-involved shooting in Fort Walton Beach that sent the suspect to the hospital.

Man shot in Dorcas home, dies

The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting death that took place around 2 a.m. Sunday, May 12 at a home in Dorcas. The victim has been identified as 56-year-old Thomas Rangeley, a visitor at the home.
