OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.  A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.

HOW TO ENTER

1. The “FOX10 IDOL Giveaway” contest will begin on March 31, 2011 and end on April 22, 2011 at 5:00pm.
2. To participate in the contest, you may enter via the following method(s): Log on to FOX10tv.com.  Search for the IDOL GIVEAWAY entry logo.  The contest entry logo will remain on the website for the duration of the contest.  The contest entry will move to different pages within the website but will not be more than three “clicks” away from the home page. Click on the contest entry logo and fill out the Find the FOX10 Idol entry form.  Winner(s) will be selected by random drawing.
3. The only way to enter this contest is through Fox10tv.com, mailed, faxed or hand delivered entry forms will be discarded.
4. Contestants may enter once every 24 Hours.  Contest players may enter as often as they like as long as entries are not within 24 Hours of previous entry.

ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

1. The contest is open to all WALA and WFNA viewers who are 21 years of age or older and who legally reside in Mobile/Pensacola television viewing area.  Employees of WALA and WFNA (the “Station”), its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other television stations in the Mobile/Pensacola metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families and/or households are ineligible to participate or win.  Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.  Void where prohibited.
2. Only one winner per household is permitted in any Station contest.
3. OTHER RESTRICTIONS. No automated or bot-driven entries allowed. Any attempt to defraud contest or contest rules will result in disqualification.

PRIZES

1. One Grand Prize package – Two tickets to the Season 10 finale of American Idol. Two round trip tickets to Los Angeles, California (tickets and airline of The Station’s Choice).  Estimated retail value of air travel: $1000.00.  Hotel accommodations (does not include room/guest service, meals, ground transportation, incidentals and gratuities) at the Hilton Universal – 555 Universal Hollywood Drive in Universal City, California. Estimate retail value of hotel - $625.00. Total estimate retail value of grand prize package: $1625.00
2. One Runner-up Prize Package includes two (2) tickets to the Goin’ Coastal Tour and two (2) artist meet and greet passes. Goin’ Coastal Tour features Kenny Chesney, Billy Currington and Uncle Kracker. May 21, 2011 at The Wharf in Orange Beach.  Meet and Greet passes for Kenny Chesney only.  Total Runner up package value: $240.00.
3. All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of the Station at the address below.  The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within seven (7) days of winning.  In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss.  The Station is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.  Prize pack must be picked up from the FOX10 studios.
4. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that the Station may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash.  The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses.  Other restrictions may apply.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

1. Decisions of the Station management with respect to the contest are final.
2. Two finalists will be selected by random drawing at the conclusion of the contest period on April 22, 2011. All finalist must be present at the Grand Prize drawing which will take place at the FOX10 Studios on April 26, 2011. Grand Prize winner will be announced on April 28, 2010.
3. Odds of winning depends on total number of correctly filled out entry forms.
4. Winners must be present to win.
5. Winners must execute and return any required affidavit of eligibility and/or liability/publicity release within seven (7) days of notification attempt or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be chosen by random drawing.  If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to sign and return the required affidavit of eligibility and/or liability/publicity release within the required time period, or if a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, potential winner forfeits prize.

CONDITIONS

1. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners.  Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.
2. By participating in the contest, finalists agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize. 
3. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in its sole discretion may require contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
4. Grand prize winner is responsible for any additional charges incurred during hotel stay including but not limited to: in-room services, gratuities, guest services, incidentals and restaurant/bar charges.  Any charges resulting from damages or destruction of hotel property is also the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize winner.
5. Grand Prize winner is responsible for any additional charges associated with travel including but not limited to: baggage fees, in-flight meals, taxes, cab fare, hotel/airport parking fees, car rental and gratuities.
6. The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement.  If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station, any competition or prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, the Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize. This includes travel limitations due to weather or other act beyond the station’s control.
7. Failure to comply with the contest rules or the Site’s Terms of Service may result in an entrant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Station.
8. The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.
9. The Station is not responsible for Internet transmission errors, illegible entries, service outages, delays, busy signals, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent transmitting his/her entry.
