MOBILE, Ala. - If you're using a generic charger for your Apple device, the company wants you to stop it! And, it's giving you an extra incentive by offering a discount on its chargers for the next two months.
Starting next Friday through October 18th, Apple is replacing all third-party chargers for $10. Last month, a Chinese woman was allegedly electrocuted when she answered an iPhone that was plugged into a charger. To get the $10 charger, you must bring in the third party charger, along with your Apple device. The replacement charger covers iPads and iPhones.
