MOBILE, Alabama (WALA) - The suspect in a double murder investigation was in court Friday morning for a bond hearing. A judge set bond for Corey Henderson at $603,000.
Henderson was arrested Wednesday morning at the Red Roof Inn in Tillmans Corner by Prichard Police and the Mobile County Sheriff's Office.
Henderson is accused of killing brothers, Willis and Willie Hampton January 23. Police report shots were fired that night around 8:20 p.m. in the area of Dial Street and Barnes Street. When they arrived, officers found the Hampton brothers dead inside a crashed car. Both had been shot multiple times.
Three other people, including a 14-year-old girl, were also inside the car. Police say they were not injured.
Henderson is charged with two counts of murder, attempted murder and several other charges.
