MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - If you plan on going to this year's BayFest in Mobile, you can score some discounted weekend passes starting on July 1.
An early bird special is going on through July 15. Those interested can buy a weekend pass for $45.
After July 15, the price of weekend passes goes up to $60. Organizers say only 50,000 weekend passes will be available for advance purchase.
A limited number single-day passes will be available at the festival gateways for $40. To purchase tickets, click here .
Organizers say the ticket hike is needed to continue to bring big name acts to the event. This year's Bayfest will be held on Friday, October 4 to Sunday, October 6 in Downtown Mobile. More than 125 musical acts will play on nine stages throughout the three-day weekend.
Organizers say 2013's musical acts will be announced in August.
