AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Police in Auburn are investigating the death of an Auburn University student.
The Lee County Coroner's Office said 20-year-old Cassandra Anne Gacek of Mobile was found dead Thursday night in her Toomer Street apartment. She had been found by a friend, who called 911 shortly after 7 p.m. Thursday.
The coroner's office said Gacek had a past medical history of seizures, though the cause of her death has not yet been determined.
The coroner's office said no foul play or alcohol or other substances are suspected to be factors in the death.
