GREENVILLE, Ala. (AP) — A man has been charged with murder, accused of fatally shooting his 24-year-old girlfriend during a dispute over a dominoes game.
Police said 29-year-old Jamaal Taylor got into a fight over the game Sunday, pulled a gun and fired into the air.
Greenville Police Chief Investigator Justin Lovvorn told WAKA-TV that the shooting was a reckless act "for no good reason."
Officials said Taylor continued firing. One bullet fatally wounded Taylor's girlfriend, 24-year-old Ashley Mcdonald.
WSFA-TV reports that another man involved in the argument suffered minor injuries.
Taylor was being held at the Butler County Jail. It was unclear whether he had an attorney.
