MOBILE, Ala. - Apple's app store is marking its five-year anniversary, and to celebrate, you're getting a special treat.
Apple is giving away some of its popular games and apps for free. Just head to the app store on your iPhone or iPad. You'll see a banner that says 'five years of the app store", and that's where you'll find details on the freebies.
The giveaways include apps for photo editing, recipes, and several popular games.
Garmin is coming out with a mobile GPS app featuring its so-called "head-up" display feature. It let's you put driving directions right on your windshield through a smart phone hooked up to your vehicle. It costs $130.
And, the days of losing your luggage could be over. The "Trakdot " GPS tracking device fits in your luggage, and will send you a text with the exact location of your bags. You can also download the app for iPhone or Android, to track your bags from city to city.
The Trakdot for luggage costs about $50. You can order it online through the company's website.
