MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Out at Hank Aaron Stadium on Sunday, July 21, it was a beautiful day for baseball.

Simone Eli and Joe Emer were Co-MVP's of the game, which ended in a 2-2 tie. Simone pitched a 1-hitter in her debut as starting pitcher. Joe Emer had the game's only triple, to go along with an incredible fielding performance.
Mobile Police are investigating an apparent shooting that left two people dead and one person injured. Witnesses say it happened around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Campus Quarters Apartments on University Boulevard.
