You can see the play ‘The Cemetery Club" at the Joe Jefferson Playhouse starting this Friday! Both drama and comedy surround three recently widowed friends, Doris, Esther, and Lucille. Each week, the ladies meet and visit their husbands' graves and meet at a deli afterward to talk about their lives.
Doris is still very much devoted to her late husband. Lucille, on the other hand, is ready to start dating again. Esther isn't ready to start dating again until she meets Ben, a former police officer turned cab driver. Doris and Lucille aren't happy that Esther is dating again, each for her own selfish reason. Things come to a head during another friend's wedding.
