MOBILE, Ala. - There's a new app that claims to be able to help you take control of your social life.
It's called 'Ketchup '. Lots of times friends talk about doing fun things like drinks, movies, or dinner, but never really get around to hanging out. 'Ketchup' lets you keep a record of all those social agreements, so when you're bored, you can go through your 'Ketchup' list, and start catching up on things you promised to do.
It also opens the door for friends to invite you to hang out more often. You can get the app in the Apple app store .
Moms-to-be can now sign up for online birthing classes. They're good for all pregnant women, but great for high risk women who may be on bed rest. The videos and animations walk patients through everything from breathing techniques to labor positions. You can register for online birthing classes at qualityoflife.org .
There's a new doorbell called DoorJamz that is controlled from an app on your smart phone. With it, your doorbell can play any song you like. You can schedule a different door-tone on certain days. You can even have it play a recording of your own voice. It has a volume control, and a mute button in case the baby is asleep. And, it can snap a pic and send it to your phone so you know who's at the door.
