For no fault of their own, Darlin and her companion Forrest Gump (aka Trip) were recently returned to ARF because their owner was having financial difficulties and about to loose his home.
Initially, Darlin was a little uncertain about her new temporary home at the ARFanage. Within a short period of time, Darlin has opened up and is thoroughly enjoying all the attention from her new caretakers. She is a very friendly, sweet and gentle girl who loves people. Darlin is good with other dogs and is great with kids and cats. She is very submissive towards people, knows how to sit and walks well on a leash. Darlin is ready to find her new forever home and would be a wonderful companion!
Darlin is a German Shepherd Dog mix and is approximately 5 years old (June 2013). She is a medium size dog and weighs about 36 pounds. Darlin is a special needs dog because she has a deformed front foot but she does just fine with her condition.
Darlin is up to date on shots, spayed and micro-chipped. If you are interested in Darlin or Forrest Gump (aka Trip), please contact ARF at 251-443-1198 or email them at email@example.com .
