Not included in that vision, however, is trash floating where so many memories have and will be made.
"For the first couple of days after the rain, the litter will come streaming in. You will see it all over. It's disgusting and horrible," Wilson said.
Wilson said with so many creeks flowing into Dog River, the trash comes from everywhere.
"You go kayaking, and you see trash. You go fishing, and you see trash," said Wilson.
Wilson said the litter has to stop, and it's going to take an effort from more than just a few people.
"It's something we need to protect. After the oil spill, you would think people would realize you can't take our coastal resources for granted," Wilson said.
Wilson said she hopes this message and the video will open eyes before the dreams of a clean river are gone.
Wilson said a group has formed to help protect the river. You can read more about the Dog River Clear Water Revival on their website .
