DEFUNIAK SPRINGS, Fla. (WALA) - Investigators with the Walton County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 47-year-old man on drug charges, including methamphetamine.
Scott Allen Anderson, 47, faces charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of cocaine and possession of narcotic equipment. A search warrant was executed after the sheriff’s office was informed that illegal narcotics were inside the residence.
Investigators said they found two small baggies in Anderson’s dresser drawer and field tested for methamphetamine and cocaine. Numerous cut straws and light bulbs with residue inside the bulbs were also found and were utilized as smoking devices. Investigators also found a container inside Anderson’s truck containing a baggie of methamphetamine.
Anderson was booked at the Walton County Department of Corrections.
