DEFUNIAK SPRINGS, Fla. (WALA) - Walton County officials said two more suspects have been arrested in connection to an active methamphetamine lab located on Ammons Drive in DeFuniak Springs on Friday, August 23.
Authorities said a search warrant was obtained for the location by the Walton County Sheriff’s Office Vice/Narcotics Unit.
Investigators said during the search,, a methamphetamine lab was recovered along with an excess of 200 grams of methamphetamine oil, narcotics equipment used to manufacture the drug; including chemicals, cooking vessels, smoking devices and hypodermic syringes.
John Lee Wickham, 56, and Connie Marie Carter, 33 are charged with principle to trafficking methamphetamine in excess of 200 grams, a first-degree felony and principle to manufacturing methamphetamine, a second-degree felony.
Wickham is also charged for an out of county warrant.
