MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Mobile Police searched a home less than a mile away from where 65-year-old Lai Robinson was gunned down in her home during a robbery.
It appeared they were collecting possible evidence at a house on Meadow Circle Road. However, no arrests have been made.
Mobile Police cars surrounded the home, which is only a few blocks away from where Robinson lived.
Neighbors told FOX10 the home has been abandoned and has been for some time.
While we were out there, investigators were scanning the area and talking with neighbors.
At one point an unmarked police car pulled up and an officer put on some white gloves. Another investigator took out a camera and went near the left side of the home.
Police then took what appears to be a white trash bag out of the unmarked police vehicle and put something in it.
We don't know what went into the trash bag but we do know police were on the scene in relation to the investigation of the cold-blooded murder of Robinson.
