MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Mobile Police responded to Old Pascagoula Road and Woodchase Boulevard around 9:30 p.m. after a 6-year-old was seen wandering the road alone.
The boy, whose name FOX10 is withholding, was found by drivers without a t-shirt or shoes on Thursday, September 5.
Concerned residents said they nearly ran over the young boy and called police immediately.
FOX10 was on the scene as the 6-year-old told Good Samaritans that he had been dropped off on the street.
After about an hour, someone known to the boy drove up and told police where he lived.
MPD drove to the young boy’s house to investigate.
FOX10 will continue digging deeper into the story and have more as it becomes available.
