Towards the end of Prine's visit a school bus painted in pink with the words "Searching for a Cure" pulled up.
Meantime, her students keep her smiling.
"Kids are the most honest people. I got a card from one of them that says 'it's okay that your bald because sharks are bald and sharks are cool too.' Kids are plain blunt with you and they will tell you exactly how they feel," said Prine.
The teacher revealed a surprise herself.
"I got a PET scan yesterday, I got the results this morning, it's all clear. Now I am moving on to surgery. I claim that as surviving. God is an awesome God and he can move mountains, so I know he can move cancer our of my body," said Prine.
