SARALAND, Ala. (WALA) - The Saraland Police Department Narcotics Unit and Special Operations Unit arrested two men on Wednesday, October 30 following a vehicle chase.
Officials said the suspects, Eric D. Barnes, 19, and Charles N. Johnson, 22 were arrested and charged with drug trafficking and attempting to elude.
The arrests came after a narcotic investigation at the Walmart in Saraland.
The chase ended in Prichard. Police seized 201 bags of synthetic marijuana, a handgun, cash and a set of digital scales.
Investigators say the suspects hit a police car and then two civilian cars before exiting the vehicle and running away.
Johnson was additionally charged with third degree criminal mischief and resisting arrest.
Saraland Police are looking for a third suspect involved with this case; call them if you know anything that may help catch the third suspect.
