MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - FOX10 News has learned of yet another instance of voter fraud; this one involving a college student.
Sources close to the Mobile municipal election tell FOX10 the student opened her roommate's absentee ballot and fraudulently voted on her behalf.
Sources said the suspect not only signed the affidavit, but even had witnesses sign documents as well.
Election officials learned of the incident after the roommate reported to them that she had still not gotten her absentee ballot.
Sources said officials will be handing the case over to the Mobile County District Attorney's Office in the coming days for prosecution.
No word on who either party was voting for.
