MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Mobile Baykeeper Casi Callaway said Friday, October 4 there are a number of things the public needs to be aware of head of Tropical Storm Karen.
She said if the storm is substantial the public needs to be aware of sewage spills and septic tank overflows.
“We really want to caution people to wash their hands often to use hand sanitizer and all that,” Callaway said. “Those big puddles might be fun but they might be filled with sewage.”
She said those germs can make people sick if they don’t take proper care of themselves.
