PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) - The Escambia County Sheriff's Office identified the body of a man found dead September 17, 2013 on Lengo Street and Hayworth Avenue as 31-year-old Houston Parker.
The sheriff's office said Parker's body was found in the intersection around 10:20 p.m. They are investigating his death as a homicide.
A spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said there is an indication of foul play, but investigators do not want to release anything more about this case yet.
A Lengo Street resident said she heard three gun shots that night while laying in bed, but did not get up to see what had happened.
She said Parker moved into her neighborhood about a month ago.
