PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) - Pensacola Police are investigating a shooting that happened Wednesday night, October 2 outside a home in the 3000 block of East Lakeview Avenue.
The shooting happened around 9:15 p.m. as a 58-year-old man was returning home from work.
Before the man could get inside, he was shot in the leg by a male who fled the scene on foot. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
A motive for the incident remains under investigation.
