The Mobile County Sheriff County said a search warrant led to illegal guns, spice, crack cocaine and thousands of dollars inside a home in Mobile.
"A lot of times people think 'well search warrants are run of the mill thing for a deputy, they do it all the time' and that is true however it's always dangerous. And in this particular case, all those weapons were loaded." said Mobile County Sheriff's Office Spokesman, Lori Myles.
Deputies said while executing a search warrant, they found a Smith & Wesson.40 caliber semi-automatic gun that had been reported stolen to the Mobile Police Department. They said three grams of cocaine and four prepackaged bags of "Spice" were also found in residence.
Authorities said they also found $3,399 while conducting the search. Deputies said $2,000 hidden in the heater system of the home.
A neighbor, Melissa Rogers, says she is glad Authorities are keeping a close eye on her neighborhood.
" I'm happy that they are trying to clean the area up and everything because I'm real concerned about, not only my kids, other people's kids also," said Rogers.
MCSO has a program called "thug text" and it was created to help get guns out of the hands of convicted felons. All you have to do is text a tip to 839863 the Mobile County Sheriff's Office and more illegal guns, are in the hands of the authorities. There is a $500 dollar reward if the tip leads to an arrest.
" This is a prime example of a person that lives here, has friends here, has family here, lots of other people knew that he was a convicted felon and that he had firearms in his home. So this is a way- we are not saying get back at somebody- but this is a way to help better your community," said Myles.
Jakari Tanner and Jamesha Fields were charged with possession of a controlled substance and third-degree receiving stolen property. Deputies said Tanner also had an outstanding felony warrant.

- 1 – Smith & Wesson .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun (reported stolen with the Mobile Police Department)(loaded);
- 1 - Beretta .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun (loaded);
- 1 – Marlin .22 caliber rifle with scope (loaded – sitting behind the front door)
