PANAMA CITY, Fla. (AP) - First lady Michelle Obama has arrived in the Florida Panhandleto meet with business and tourism leaders to discuss how the Gulfoil spill has harmed them.
Obama's plane landed Monday at the new Northwest Florida BeachesInternational Airport in Panama City. The airport opened in Mayjust as the number of tourists to the Gulf coast began dropping dueto the spill.
She was being taken to meet with Carol Browner, who is thepresident's adviser on climate change, and about a dozen localbusiness leaders.
