GRENADA COUNTY, Miss. (WALA) - U.S. Marshals have arrested a man wanted in connection to an alleged child sex ring that has been investigated for more than a year.
Nelton 'Butch' Morgan is facing charges in the case involving the family of missing Mobile mother Brittney Wood.
A warrant was signed for his arrest on charges of rape and sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12.
The Mobile County Sheriff's Office said Morgan was out of town when they rounded up six other suspects:
Dustin Kent: Bond $330,000. He is charged with two counts of rape, sex abuse, sodomy, and production of obscene material of a person under 17.
William "Billy" Brownlee: Bond $210,000. He is charged with two counts of rape, sodomy and sex abuse.
Mendy Kent: Bond $60,000. She is charged with sodomy and sex abuse.
Wendy Holland: Bond $30,000. She is charged with sodomy.
James Cumbaa: Bond $150,000. He is charged rape, sodomy, and sex abuse.
Randall Scott Wood was arrested by Saraland Police and charged with second degree sodomy, enticing a child to enter and second degree rape.
