MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Mobile Police say a woman died after a drive-by shooting on Racine Drive Saturday night.
Police say 40-year-old Wendy Fisher was shot in the right side of her chest and was rushed to USA Medical Center. North died from her injuries Saturday night, according to police.
Mobile Police were on the scene of the shooting at Racine Dr. at Overlook Rd. that happened around 6 p.m. Saturday.
Police said their investigation has so far revealed that a three to four black male subjects in a vehicle fired multiple shots at the victim before speeding away.
Police said the vehicle was a dark-colored — grey or green — four-door Honda, Nissan Altima or similar style vehicle.
They said the subjects, who were not known to the victim, were engaged in an altercation with her before the shooting.
