MOBILE, Ala. - Grey charges are hidden fees that can be attached to some of your bills. Now, there's a free app that will identify those fees for you.
It's called the Billguard iPhone app . You can add 2 credit cards for free, or manage up to 10 cards for a one-time $10 fee. The app alerts you when questionable charges show up. If there is a dispute, the app sends an email directly to the origin of the dispute. It saves you time, and money.
Pretty soon, students will be able to rent some of their textbooks from an Android app! Google announced an August launch for it's Google Play "Textbooks". The company partnered with five major textbook publishers to cover subjects like law, math, and accounting. Right now, Google isn't giving up an exact price, but says the books are expected to rent and sell for an eighty percent discount.
