PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) - A body found in the woods in Pensacola Monday morning has led to an investigation by the Escambia County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities said a person walking through the woods found the body near Wentworth St. and Maxwell St. at around 8:50 a.m. on Dec. 17.
The ECSO said investigators and crime scene technicians are on-scene working the case and more details will be released as the investigation continues.
