MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - The Mobile County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in a nearly two year old case. Officials said human remains found off of Dep Busby Road earlier this month were identified early Thursday, March 14, as Michael Blue Watson.
Bryan Lewis Gibson has been charged with Watson's murder.
Watson was reported missing in April 2011. Deputies said Gibson has been a suspect for some time.
Once deputies identified the body, an arrest warrant was signed for Gibson.
Gibson was arrested Thursday evening.
During the course of the arrest, investigators said components of a meth lab along with Spice and drug paraphernalia were discovered in Gibson's vehicle, and is facing felony drug charges.
Deputies also arrested Brandon Wayne Johnson on felony drug charges.
