Hannah Aldridge is an Americana/ Folk artist originally from Muscle Shoals. Her father is #1 hit songwriter and Alabama Music Hall of Fame inductee, Walt Aldridge, who has written and produced artists Lou Reed, Reba McEntire, and Conway Twitty. He has also been named songwriter of the year twice by Billboard.
Early in Hannah's writing career, she was recognized for her astounding ability to capture emotion and ability to stun with her sultry vocals. Progressive folks bands like Mumford and Sons, as well as soulful songwriters like Ray Lamontagne and Jackson Browne are her inspiration.
When Hannah was 19, she was chosen for "Hot on the Row" in Nashville three times. She also had the honor of playing Bluebird showcase with writers including Pat Alger, Brett James and her father. With the release of her progressive folk album, "Wanderer" in April 2011, Hannah's career has picked up at lightening speed, and the young artist has captivated audiences all over the country.
In July 2011 Hannah was chosen as an upcoming artist of the year in the southern magazines, "No'Ala" and "Lonesome", and she was featured on the CW show Hart of Dixie alongside Rascal Flatts. She was also featured in the August 2012 issue of Relix Magazine.
In 2011/2012, she toured Europe and was in front of 1,500 people during a two week period. While in France, she was interviewed by someone at France24. The documentary "Rails to Ride" was recorded while she was on tour.
