The comedy is set in Buffalo, New York where some unemployed steelworkers come up with a bold way to make some quick cash after seeing their wives enjoying a male strip show during their "Girls Night Out".The men find renewed self-esteem and realize how important their friendship really is in the process of transforming themselves into male dancers. The men work through their fears, self-consciousness, and feelings of worthlessness and anxieties to discover that they're stronger as a group, and that the strength they find in each other gives them the individual courage to face their demons and overcome them.
