PRICHARD, Ala. (WALA) - A 20-year-old Prichard woman remained in serious condition at USA Medical Center Tuesday, July 16.
The victim's mother told FOX10 News Bobbie Ridgeway was shot in the side Sunday on Elba Street on Sunday.
According to Francilla Ridgeway, the shooter hasn't been arrested even though Ridgeway said the family knows the shooter.
Ridgeway is concerned for her daughter, and she worried about the safety of one of her other children.
"He has been terrorizing my son every since early last week on Monday. Telling him he was going to every time he see him he was going to rob him, take his money, slap him, beat him up, and everything. And that Sunday earlier that day he seen my daughter at the service station and he jumped on her beat her up and pulled a gun on her, and then later on about maybe 30 or 40 minutes later he seen her on Elba Avenue and he shot her," Ridgeway said.
Ridgeway said she's also concerned about public safety in the city. She said her family is taking their concerns to the Mobile County district attorney.
